About Us

R+E front deskThe Research + Education Group (R+E) is a community-based non-profit consortium of medical professionals dedicated solely to the study of and therapy for HIV disease. The R+E Group is committed to providing our community HIV therapies and clinical trials of promising new and investigational AIDS drugs and treatments.

The R+E Group includes physicians, mid-level medical practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. We are part of a network of clinical trial sites that has been established worldwide to broaden the knowledge base of HIV treatments, and to provide those with HIV and their healthcare providers access to the latest treatment information.

  • We are among 30 participating physician investigators and mid-level practitioners in Oregon and Southwest Washington;
  • Our physicians and mid-level practitioners provide care to over 70 percent of the population currently receiving HIV medical are in the state of Oregon;
  • We have received substantial federal research funding over the last 20 years;
  • We have completed over 100 research studies (protocols) since 1989
