| The R&E Group sponsors a charitable fund known as the Living With HIV Disease Fund to address unmet research needs of people living in Oregon and SW Washington. Various funders ranging from the Oregon Income Tax CheckOff program, Art AIDS, pharmaceutical industry and individual donors have provided over $750,000 over the past ten years to ensure public awareness of HIV clinical research and to ensure access to emerging HIV therapies. In addition, the R&E Group offers a single grant from the Paul Michael Starr Fund each year to encourage awareness of HIV issues in teens and young adults.
