Community Input Group (CIG) - Volunteer Opportunities

    The Community Input Group, is a volunteer advisory board comprised of members of the HIV-infected community and their advocates. The CIG has an active role in assessment, protocol implementation, education and training, research agenda and scientific planning, recruitment, accrual retention, and capacity.

    Members provide community input into all aspects of the CPCRA through membership on national standing committees, advocacy groups, concept and protocol teams, and the Steering Committee.

    The Research & Education Group CIG as a whole, is responsible for reflecting and representing the demographic makeup of the HIV-infected communities in Oregon and Southwest Washington, and providing community input into the CPCRA clinical trial development process.
